Are you going to Urbana (Urbana15)? Planning to exhibit?
Many, many mission agencies and sending organizations use www.goodmissionaryinsurance.com and Good Neighbor Insurance for their international health insurance. Many of you may also be considering exhibiting at Intervarsity’s Urbana15 (Urbana 2015) this December 27-31, 2015 in St. Louis at the America Center (Where the NFL St. Louis Rams play football). View the invitation to exhibit and video here.
If you’d like to reach out to the more than 16,000 missions-minded students that attend Urbana, registration of booth space in the exhibition hall has just opened and pricing has been announced. Please note that to exhibit, sending organizations and non-profits must have an actual service/missions program and actually send people overseas (short-term missions or long-term career missionaries) or for colleges and universities, have a missions degree and opportunities to serve overseas, in order to exhibit. Other exhibitor criteria can be found here.
Urbana also provides opportunities to vendors and other support/service organizations in their exhibitor lounge area, for those offering travel insurance, short-term team insurance, for travel agents, those offering short-term training materials, for groups that do training on how-to raise support, those who handle short-term missions administration and more. These groups are not allowed on the main floor/exhibitor space to interact with the students, but they are able to support/help/connect with the sending organizations represented.
We have found Urbana to be an “One-of-a-kind” gathering, offered only every three years, that would be a shame to miss. To see how God has used past Urbanas, go to https://urbana.org/past-urbanas.
URBANA is an unique opportunity to reach out and recruit new missionary candidates, recruit for short-term teams, and help students discern God’s will for their lives. For students, registration actually begins March 4, for Dec. . We actually have a page from 2012 up at https://www.gninsurance.com/urbana12/ and will be adding a new page for students considering attending URBANA15 in the next few months.

Why Urbana, if it’s held in St. Louis? Intervarsity ended up outgrowing the University of Illinois campus in 2006, and Intervaristy Christian Fellowship (IVCF) has held the conference every three years at the Edward Jones Dome at the America Center in St. Louis since that time. Urbana had been in Champaign/Urbana Illinois since 1948, but the original conference was actually held in Toronto, Canada.
